GBTA | Michigan Chapter is the authoritative voice of Business Travel Management in Michigan. Our resources are dedicated to providing a forum for the constructive exchange of information and ideas among our members. We are committed to enhancing the image of the travel manager and the educational advancement of our members.
Founded in 1967, GBTA | Michigan is an organization dedicated to advancing the interests of the corporate travel industry. As the collective voice of this industry for Michigan, we support and represent our core constituents of corporate travel managers and associated travel services by providing tools, information, and networks required for effective business travel management.
More than 100 members enjoy the benefits of the chapter including:
- Regular meetings to educate travelers on financial and legislative changes
- Impacting our community with an annual holiday charity auction and hands-on activities
- Social events for members include an annual summer event and holiday event
- Social media accounts including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter to help inform the members on industry news
GBTA | Michigan Chapter Solicitation Policy
GBTA Michigan is intended to be a forum for buyers and suppliers to network and share ideas to enhance our industry through education, advocacy, and social events. We have a strict no-solicitation policy and Allied members should only solicit Direct members who have invited them to do so. Please see our Membership Chair if you have questions about this policy.
GBTA Business Travel Professional Service Award
Each year the Chapter Presidents Council of GBTA honors a select group of experienced travel professionals with the elite Business Travel Service Award (BTSA). These GBTA members have distinguished themselves as industry leaders who have devoted themselves to their company, their association (both local and national), and their fellow business associates and have made contributions to the business travel industry.
